SCAUT: a candidate screening platform

Challenge

Screening a job candidate means going through registers and verifying documents, education and experience, differently in every country and always under GDPR. Screening Solutions wanted to turn a process that elsewhere takes weeks of paperwork into an online service: the SCAUT platform for screening candidates, employees and tenants.

Solution

We developed the platform as a complete SaaS:

• automation of screening workflows on a process engine (Camunda),
• integration with Czech and European registers via Apache Camel,
• payments and consent management,
• GDPR by design: anonymisation and data retention,
• identity and access via Keycloak, running on Kubernetes.

Technology

Result

SCAUT now runs as a global service. The operator states on scaut.com (opens in a new window) more than 100 enterprise clients, coverage of 150+ countries, ISO/IEC 27001 certification (since 2020), AES-256 encryption with TLS 1.3 and data in European data centres. Vodafone Czech Republic is among the platform's public references.
