Challenge

Key public institutions need to exchange data reliably, auditably and without outages. The General Financial Directorate, the Czech Social Security Administration and the health insurance companies each run their own systems. Exchanging data between them calls for a central hub that copes with the volume, the variety of formats and the availability requirements.

Solution

The IDR integration data platform is a central hub for data exchange between institutions. We delivered for O2 IT Services:

• event-driven architecture on Apache Kafka,
• integration logic on Apache Camel,
• operation on Kubernetes designed for high availability, because data exchange between institutions must not stop.
