# Label Checker Multihead: machine vision

## Challenge

**Industrial cameras and readers are traditionally configured one at a time, and it is complicated.** Yet reading QR codes and OCR on a production line or at an airport typically means several cameras over one spot, different angles and different layers of checks. The goal was a tool in which such a multi-camera installation can be assembled graphically.

## Solution

**A graphical editor for industrial readers and machine vision:**

- QR code reading and OCR,
- working with several cameras at once (multihead),
- drawing layers and polygons, so areas of interest are defined directly over the image,
- an Angular frontend, device logic scripted in Lua, a GitLab CI/CD pipeline.

## Result

**Deployed where errors are not acceptable.** The editor is used at airports to read baggage labels and in manufacturing for quality control on the line. Two environments, one platform for configuring machine vision.
