# Project database for the Karlovy Vary Region

Client: Karlovy Vary Region · delivery incl. hosting and long-term support (public contract)

## Challenge

**The region manages dozens of planned projects at once, and the overview of them lived in spreadsheets and emails.** Project planning, costs, grant drawdown, supplier outreach and tracking of delivery needed one central system that handles what public administration requires: roles and permissions, auditability and long-term sustainability.

## Solution

**We built the system from scratch, from analysis through development to operations.** A central application through which the region manages its projects and their costs and tracks how delivery is going:

- planned projects and their life cycle recorded in one place,
- grant drawdown and records of grant-funded projects,
- release of funds per fiscal period,
- roles and access tied to the authority's identity system (Keycloak),
- delivery tracking without manual retyping,
- hosting and operations run by us, so the region looks after projects, not servers.

## Result

**One source of truth about the region's projects, from plan to delivery.** The system is live and we keep developing it. It was delivered as a public contract, and everything can be looked up in the Czech Register of Contracts.
