# IDR: an integration data platform

## Challenge

**Key public institutions need to exchange data reliably, auditably and without outages.** The General Financial Directorate, the Czech Social Security Administration and the health insurance companies each run their own systems. Exchanging data between them calls for a central hub that copes with the volume, the variety of formats and the availability requirements.

## Solution

**The IDR integration data platform is a central hub for data exchange between institutions.** We delivered for O2 IT Services:

- event-driven architecture on Apache Kafka,
- integration logic on Apache Camel,
- operation on Kubernetes designed for high availability, because data exchange between institutions must not stop.
